This Privacy Policy describes how SnAPI ("we," "us," "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website, products, and services (collectively, the "Services").     • API Documentation: You may provide us with your API documentation and/or code. We do not store your code beyond the processing required to create your AI Agent. (Important: Clarify what you do and don't store here.)
    • Chat Interface Content: When you interact with a SnAPI AI agent, we may collect the questions, commands and the answers it provides to you.
    • Communication: If you contact us (e.g., through email, or contact forms), we collect your contact information, including your email address, and the contents of your communication.
  • Information Collected Automatically:
    • Usage Data: We automatically collect usage data when you use our Services. This may include your IP address, browser type, device information, operating system, and information about your activity within the Services (e.g., which features you use, the date/time of your activity). (This aligns with the "Usage Data" mentioned in the Outpoint privacy policy.)
    • Cookies and Similar Technologies: (If applicable – this is crucial, so address this directly). We not use cookies and similar tracking technologies (e.g., web beacons, pixels) to collect information on our platform.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information for the following purposes:

  • To Provide and Improve the Services: To operate our website, build the AI agents, and improve their performance.
  • To Authenticate Your Account: To verify your identity and allow you to access your SnAPI account.
  • To Communicate with You: To respond to your inquiries, provide customer support, and send you important updates about the Services.
  • To Improve the Platform's Performance and Security: For security and fraud prevention (similar to the Outpoint policy).

3. How We Share Your Information

We may share your information in the following circumstances:

  • With Third-Party Service Providers: We may share your information with trusted third-party service providers who assist us in providing and improving the Services (e.g. to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for data storage, Google Gemini for language model processing, and Outseta for user authentication and payment processing). These providers are contractually obligated to protect your information and only use it for the purposes we specify.
    • Google Cloud Platform: Your data is stored on Google Cloud Platform servers located within the United States. GCP adheres to strict security standards, and we employ additional security measures to protect your data. This transfer of data to the US is made in accordance with the requirements of PIPEDA.
    • Google Gemini: We utilize third-party generative AI tools such as Google Gemini for language model processing. Google Gemini's data handling can be found in their service terms and conditions, available via https://ai.google.dev/gemini-api/terms.
    • Outseta: Your email address and name will be shared with Outseta for authentication and payment processing.
  • Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required by law, such as in response to a subpoena, court order, or other legal process.
  • Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such change in ownership or control of your personal information.
  • With Your Consent: We may share your information with third parties with your consent or at your direction.

4. Data Retention

We will retain your personal information only for as long as is necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.

  • We retain your account information and usage data for one (1) year from the last date of account activity. After this period, your data will be deleted, unless otherwise required by law. You are responsible for deleting any data you have uploaded that you no longer wish to be stored.

These include encryption in transit, access control mechanisms via IAM best practices on GCP, and regular security audits. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.
